Hello, I’m Jen! In short, I LOVE what I do. After almost a decade of experience with eating disorders and non-diet approach to health, I founded JR Dietetics in 2012 with a vision to impact lives on a new level. Over the last twenty years, I’ve had the privilege of walking thousands of clients as they have journeyed from disordered eating and health complications coupled with confusion, discouragement, exhaustion and shame to the point of thriving from the inside out. I believe that everyone has the ability to experience full recovery, robust health and genuine lifestyle transformation, without sabotaging their joy of food!

Hello, my name is Megan! Does it feel like you don’t know what or how to eat anymore? Has your struggle with weight impaired your relationship with food? Are you newly diagnosed with diabetes or heart disease? I would love to support you and help you navigate these issues. Whatever you need,  I’m here to provide you with the tools and resources you need to become more confident in your nutrition and health journey! After all, eating is meant to be enjoyable!

Jessica McMinn, RDN Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, MS

  • Gut health
  • Thyroid Health
  • Hormone Imbalance
  • Auto-Immune Issues

Hello! My name is Jessica and  I specialize in digestive issues and endocrine health. I am a foodie, outdoor enthusiast, and nanny. As a woman, I get how hormone imbalances can wreak havoc on your weight, metabolism, energy, mood, and self-esteem. I was diagnosed with PCOS and hypothyroidism in college. I struggled with unhealthy weight fluctuations for  several years. Learning how to develop a healthy, sustainable relationship with food has empowered me to help others do the same.

I believe food should be fun and our medicine. If you are living with chronic GI issues or hormone imbalances, it can cast fear and doubt over your food choices. I am here to debunk nutrition myths and educate on how nutrition can heal our hormones and gut issues! Together, we can choose foods that serve our bodies and ditch the foods that cause pain, inflammation, gut dysbiosis, and hormone imbalances. Once we learn what our bodies need, we can live our best selves.

Allison Grooms, RDN Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, CPT

  • Pre & Post Natal Nutrition
  • Pediatric & Adolescence
  • ARFID
  • Sports Nutrition

Hi, I’m Allison! I LOVE all things nutrition and fitness! My nightstand has books stacked from anything health to wellness to fitness related with a few murder mysteries and cheesy novels thrown in the mix. For the past 18+ years I have had the pleasure walking alongside women during their pregnancy specializing in prenatal/postnatal nutrition. With so many “do’s and don’ts” during pregnancy, all while trying to navigate the not-so-pleasant discomforts (hello nausea, vomiting, constipation, heartburn and more!) – I am here to help. I work with all ages, starting from breastfeeding support, to starting your baby on solids, to picky toddlers and tricky teens! My passion of fitness finds me walking my two energetic King Charles Cavaliers daily to lifting weights in my gym. I love encouraging my teen girls and other women to lift weights (aka heavy weights). Building strong muscles is the key to longevity!
